No, It’s War, and Here’s What Every Woman Needs to Know Going In
Divorce is never easy. Never. Even the people who tell you that they are going through an amicable divorce are having a hard time. It may be true that they don’t despise one another and that they’re not cutthroat on the daily, but it still sucks that they are dissolving their marriage, no matter how long (or short) it was.
It’s important, when getting divorced, to understand what you might be in for.
Guys, I apologize in advance. I’m a woman, I write mostly about women, and this advice is directed at primarily women. However, I think the gist is universal and you could just switch some pronouns, and the takeaways will work on both sides of the aisle. I just wanted to offer full disclosure.
That said — this is about Divorce Advice all of my Gal Pals Need.
Divorce is complicated. It is more complicated if you are a mother. There, I said it. We all know divorce is tough if it’s just you and your man, but it’s tougher if it’s you, your man, and the littles. I’ll try to be gentle here as we go, but here goes:
