Barbara,

I'm guessing you skimmed these parts:

"has claimed that I am an ungrateful, spiteful spider of a woman who has poisoned my children against their father. She has said, in text messages and emails to my children that their father took me in and provided me with all I had in life, and that I should have been more thankful"

But you may call me a fool, if you wish. I'll still not accept a gift from someone who later told my daughter she'd be dancing on her father's grave. I think it's fair not to be friends with that kind of person. My conscience is clear.

In fact, at a family wedding just a few weeks ago, this woman cornered my younger son and told him he's not grateful enough for the $5k my ex contributed to his $48k college tuition for the past year. I'm fine with non-friendship, thanks.
