Hi again Mike.
Let me be clear. He taught piano lessons, was the musical director for a theatre school, and taught at a theatre summer camp.
And yet, I think you missed where I wrote all that.
He lied to me about those things, about how much money we did or did not have. He led me to believe that everything was fine when it wasn't, and never did I ask for a lavish life. Re-read that thing about the super inexpensive wedding dress, and the part where I sometimes worked two jobs as well.
My expectation was simply that he would be honest with me about money, which he never was.
I know roughly what teachers make. What I didn't know was how much more he was spending.
You probably should read the essay again before you think I'm bashing teachers.
