Okay, maybe if you are a staunch environmentalist you can give up things like avocados and almonds because they require great heaps of water to grow, or if you think they are too “bougie,” fine. But as for me? Nope. I’m good.

I am really just poking fun at all of the advisors and “sky-is-falling” folks who are decrying the utter downfall of the entire economic landscape who are just positively certain that it’s all coming to an end and if you don’t give up everything that makes your life even a teensy bit enjoyable, we will all surely suffer.

I’m enjoying my toast.

And I just remodeled my bathroom.

I might remodel another one before the end of the year.

And oh, I’m also going on a pretty posh vacation in less than two weeks.

The vacation is just something I owe myself. The home improvements are an investment.
