I love Aldi. You misspelled aficionado, but maybe you set the coffee maker time wrong, or you drink their (very acidic) Donut Blend? That stuff is awful!

In general, I love Aldi. Even cooler to add to the story is that the Albrecht brothers split ways in a dispute over whether the stores should sell cigarettes. So in Germany, the stores are Aldi Nord and Aldi Sud (North and South) with Aldi Sud refusing to sell cigarettes. The dividing line became known as the “Aldi Equator.”

The brothers also have a beloved collection of typewriters. Go figure.
