Stop Pretending They Deserve Your Consideration. At All.
It’s been a while.
We are now on the fifteenth letter of the Greek alphabet, for crying out loud. That’s a LOT of variants, people. A LOT.
We trudged through last Thanksgiving, pleading with people to stay home, to stay safe, to consider the health and well-being of their loved ones, their children, their grandparents, for f*cks sake.
To little effect.
Then, we were gifted with a highly effective, easy-to-get, FREE vaccine.
And still.
Those cousins, uncles, weird neighbors — refused to get it. They claimed that Bill Gates was putting a tracking device, some mind-controlling chip in the vaccine. They claimed they wouldn’t take it because they didn’t know what was in it, that it hadn’t been researched enough. That it wasn’t FDA-regulated or somesuch. They also don’t know what is in tattoo ink, and that shit isn’t regulated either, but whatev.
We saw cases spike, we saw long lines at vaccination centers, but then we saw a beautiful lessening in cases and deaths, and it was all thanks to those who were willing to get the shot.
