1. Operation Warp Speed was a Congressional Research Service Program authorized by the Trump Administration (not conceived of by Trump, not even originated by Trump; it just has a cool name this time) which released funds to SEVEN pharmaceutical companies. Only three were able to bring a viable drug to market. FOUR of them failed.

It is not "widely underreported" that obese populations typically need critical care. Nor is it underreported that the aged need more care, or that those who are current or former smokers need more care. Stop victim-shaming. It's ugly.

The 1968 flu pandemic killed between 1 and 4 million globally, that's true. We've already passed the 4 million number in COVID-19 deaths. And you're okay with that? Because by all reports, we are nowhere near the peak.

And last, I'm sorry you're "not" criticizing the anti-vaxxers, because they are the ones who are largely the vectors for this virus. They are the ones whose bodies are weaponizing each variant. I'll gladly keep criticizing them...until they all die off.
