A quick dive into the “White House Faith Office” and why it should give us all the ick.

If you’ve watched even one or two episodes of “The Righteous Gemstones,” you have a window into what to expect is coming from the newly-established White House Faith Office.

Thanks to one of the (now 110) executive orders signed by Trump, the White House now has its own department dedicated to ensuring that America doesn’t fall into the hands of the devil. The first order of business in the EO — policy. We are told that “these organizations lift people up, keep families strong, and solve problems.” It goes on to say that because of this value, the White House wants to allow faith-based organizations to “compete on a level playing field for grants, contracts, programs, and other Federal funding opportunities.”

Okay, then.

So now that we’ve eliminated at least one barrier between church and state, it was time to dig in and see what else this executive order had in mind.

It does state that the new administration wants to be sure that their agencies “honor and enforce” the guarantee our founders believed was so vital — that of religious liberty and that they are committed to “ending any form of religious discrimination…
