Project 2025 is a 900+ page document not read by many because, well, it’s 900+ pages. But I read it quite some time ago, and I decided to go through it again and explain the important stuff while weeding out the not important stuff, because now it is not theory, it’s reality. Trump may have distanced himself from it in the campaign, but it IS the conservative playbook. They even say so. It is the definitive guide for a conservative administration, and now we have one.

So buckle up, and follow along.

I couldn’t sleep last night.

I took my sons to vote at 3PM at our precinct in Baltimore City. A reliably blue state, it still felt good to know we were doing our part to cast our ballots for Harris-Walz. I wasn’t energetically enthusiastic the way I was back in the Obama days, but I carried with me a quiet assurance. I thought that the loudmouthed Trump supporters would be suppressed by a thin margin of liberal-minded voters who could see through the dangerous dictator. I had a calmness about our peers to the north in Pennsylvania, figuring that there would be enough women who voted Democrat despite their bullish husbands.

I was so very wrong.
