So Now, Of Course, I Must Share It With You, Because It Explains So Much.

Sapiosexual.

The word has a strange ring to it, so of course I immediately needed to find out what it was all about. The fact that it intrigued me so much does some of the explaining for me.

A Sapiosexual is someone who is attracted to someone else based upon their intellect.

Eureka!

According to Bustle, sapiosexuals find intellect to be “one of the most attractive qualities in a potential partner.” This totally describes me. Like, fits me to a “T.”

Sure, when I was younger, I sought out creatives, tended to look for good-looking guys who would help me create beautiful carbon copies of our mixed genes. But I have found now that I have three versions of myself out in the world, I’m no longer interested in just a partner who has good teeth and the capacity to build muscle tissue or a knack for playing the piano. Nope. Now what I am most interested in is a partner who challenges my wit and vocabulary.

There’s just one problem, and it’s hard to address without sounding like an ass. Finding that person is rough, because I’m pretty smart.
