Thanks, Melodie. I do think it's important to know I'm not angry. Sad, yes. But not angry. As I wrote, "I will love him through these, in sorrow and relative silence."

I'm sad for him and what could be, and I love him perhaps more than he knows. But I am not angry, just a bit heartbroken, as most mothers can be.
