I am being very careful to use their content directly, making no allusions, so that you as readers understand the language the writers there are choosing and why.
The 2025 Presidential Transition Project, as the first chapter is titled, begins with a “note” on what they begin calling colloquially “Project 2025,” hence the catchy title that was picked up by the press far too late to change the game and alter any election outcomes.
The early chapter is an invitation to participate. Summoning the image of Uncle Sam, it leads with “We want you!” It’s an effort and call to preparedness. It wants all of us to be ready for governing at noon on January 20. Ready!
It is immediately clear that a lot of work went into crafting this book. I mean, 900+ pages? Yeesh! When I first set about reading this thing, I thought it would be dry and I would be in over my head. But then I realized that each section was written by a passionate team, and that each of them had taken on only a small chunk of material that interested them, and so each part was actually riveting.
