Well, Jessica, I do recall being 26. And I have a 24 year old and a 20 year old around for when I forget. I watch them navigating the same world he does, but they do it more wisely, more carefully, and with a clearer picture of what they need to "get by." Instead of going out for a $300 dinner, they go out for $30 tacos and pay the cable bill on time. They buy $60 jeans instead of $60 monthly shaving cream subscriptions.
Am I expecting too much?
I doubt it. But I do have a lot of sympathy for the average 20-something. I truly do. But remember, you're talking to someone who had to wade through the housing crisis. We feel your pain.
